Preprocess SSRS Report Issue

Hi,

I have used table type regular for the Preprocess SSRS report.

Records are saving in the table because table type is regular.

So, I used delete_from command to clear the records before process the report.

SSRS Report is working good, but we are getting Head Blocker issue in Sql Server because of this Delete_from command for the regular table.

Any idea to solve this issue.

    Hi

    You get 2 types of pre processing reports. Those that use temp tables and those that use regular tables. Either way, if you implement reports using pre-processing, you don't have to delete records in the temp table or the regular table, the framework does it for you, as long as you implement it correctly. So you can remove your delete statement. But you need to add other code.

    Please make sure you've followed instructions correctly about using these classes:

    mfmujahidmim.wordpress.com/.../

    dynamicsuser.net/.../srsreportdataproviderpreprocess-is-used-to-work-with-regular-tables-with-the-included-properties-createdby-and-createtransactionid
