GP User missing SQL Login

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Somehow, when the user changed her password, her SQL server login got blown away. She still shows up in GP but the system locks whenever anyone clicks on her login. How can we clear the remnants of her login from GP?

Also, was there a way to recreate the user in SQL if it is only in GP?

Thanks!

Bill, run this script against the DYNAMICS database and against all company databases:

    DROP USER  '<XXX>'

Then recreate the user in GP and re-create the user ID for the company databases. To do this, select the user, clear the Access check box for all the companies that are selected, and then click the Access check box again for the companies for which you want the user to have access.
