Bank Account is not available for selection under Foreign Currency Revaluation

Hi All,
 
I am not able to see the bank account under Foreign Currency Revaluation in Cash & Bank Management module.
What can be the possible reason for this issue?

    Hello Indrashis,
     
    Directly, unfortunately, you cannot.
    However, there is an indirect solution: you can use the accounting/report currency.
     
    So if you link your bank account to a dedicated main account, each time a transaction is on the general ledger, it will convert on the report accounting currency.  So you can perform the inquiries from the trial balance.
    Remeber to perform regularly also the foreign currency revaluation.
     
    Note: if you are following this solution, you can set only one currency as accounting currency or reporting currency.
    Other pathways are customization reports.

    Hi Indrashis,
     
    I suppose that you mean that when opening the dialog for creating a new revaluation, the bank account is not in the grid. Only bank accounts having a different currency compared to your accounting currency will show up. Can you check the currency on the bank account(s)?

    Another way is to use the financial report.
    You can create a dedicated financial report and link it to the bank account's main account. Then you can choose the currency:
