New form on Production floor execution

I have a requirement where I need to add a new button on "Active jobs" of Production execution floor.

I have achieved that but the problem is my form does not look like other forms on production execution floor.

I need to show it as the form above (touch interactive, with blue background and big buttons).

    Hi Inna Kharkivska,

thank you for your information - that should be the reason, why it's currently not working!

I'll test it if we have version 10.0.19 in place.

    Best regards,

    Andi

    Hi Andi,

Please, be aware that these form names: JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomInputDialog and JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomDialog are supported from 10.0.19 version.

    Hi Abhishek,

thank you for posting the link to the documentation. Your hint with the correct naming was very helpful!

But unfortunately I'm still not able to get the correct design for a dialog.

The dialog name starts with JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomInputDialog... and there are only two buttons in it. Those two buttons (cancel and ok) are in correctly named groups.

The output still looks like this:

I've also tried name with JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomInputDialog... and JmgProductionFloorExecutionDialog... but without success.

Do you have an idea, what's going wrong there?

    Best regards,

    Andi

    Hi,

    Here is the documentation:

Please note that the form name needs to start with JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomDialog or JmgProductionFloorExecutionCustomInputDialog for the styles to work.

    Hi Anu Pama,

have you been able to solve the design issue or did you get any documentation on it? I have also the requirement to show a new form with production floor execution design. I've handled the action extension part, but now my form also doesn't mach the production floor execution design.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Best regards,

    Andi

RE: New form on Production floor execution

    Hello Abhishek,

You are right about the form functionality.

It is very similar to RAF or Report scrap form.

The form will have a numpad, user will enter a qty from that numpad and on the click of ok button, a journal will be posted.

Till now, I have created a form and the form is linked to a display menu item.

I have also created a class which extends the JmgProductionFloorExecutionAction class and in this class I am setting my display menu item.

Now, I have configured to show the button on All jobs tab. The form does opens up but the problem it is not displayed like any JMG production floor execution form.

Can you guide me to any useful Microsoft link?

All I can find is documents regarding the front end functionality.

RE: New form on Production floor execution

The possibility of applying styles is restricted to internal forms only. However, for forms used in the Production Floor Execution context, the styles will be inherited as long as they adhere to certain structure. Documentation on how to achieve that will be released soon. In your case, the form in question seems to have a similar functionality to the standard report as finished form. So, would be interesting to know what your customization needs are?
