Catalog PunchOut (external catalog) cXML set up error

Hello, 

I try to set up the cXML message for an external catalog with the information provided by vendor. 

They gave me everything i need (ID domain, key secret and URL). I tested the connection on punchout tester with the information provided, everything works well but when i set up in D365 it's sending me the message saying URL is sending error 500 internal error code. 

Anyone has seen this error before with punch out in D365 ? 

P/S, i tried punch-out functionality with another vendor and everything is working fine. but not for this vendor.

    Hi Chau,

    Do you mean when you click on the validate setting it manage to bring you to your vendor website without any problem but you have error when trying the punch out on purchase req?

    thank you for your response.

    I tested the connection with another tool (Punchout tester): punchoutcommerce.com/.../cxml-punchout-tester => the information provided by vendor works well when i do the test here (domain, id, key secret, url).

    But when i set up the catalog and click on validate settings in D365 , it throws an error saying internal error 500 and can't navigate to the website of vendor.

    this error is with only 1 vendor. I tested punchout with another vendor in D365 => the connection is ok

    have you seen this kind of error before ?

    Hi Chau,

    I believe you would need to check with the punch out supplier whether they support D365FO and provide you with the new CXML setup request, then you test in D365 FO directly.

    Thank you, yes i think the error is coming from the vendor side as it's sending internal error 500
