Associate N:N records via a workflow?

Hi -- I'd like to be able to associate two records that have an N:N relationship via a background workflow on creation of one of the records. It is possible to do this with workflows? I believe I have a pretty good understanding of the workflows, but was unable to make this work. Maybe I am missing something? Thanks for any help?

    Hi,

You could do one things here

Instead of using the OOTB N:N relationship, you can create a N:1 and a 1:N via a custom intermediate entity.

And from this point, via a workflow you will have the possibility to link the 2 records via the intermediate entity.

    Regards,

    Clément

I really don't think you can do something like that without custom code.
