Importing Default Solution

Posted on by 12,070 Super User 2024 Season 1

Hi All,

I am importing default solution and I have a lot of dependency errors which are the missing components from some managed solution. I am not able to find below managed solutions:

  1. CustomeControlCore (9.1.0000.8020)
  2. GuideHelp (1.2.0.2)
  3. Msdyn_PowerConnectors (9.2.0.0)
  4. Msdynce_KnowledgeManagementMigratedControls(9.0.1.356)
  5. Msdynce_KnowledgeManagementPatch(9.0.1.356)
  6. Msdynce_MarketingPatch201905 (9.0.1907.4013)

One more thing when I analyse CustomeControlCore (9.1.0000.8020) managed solution from the missing components log. I saw the missing and required component are same. Any idea How to overcome these kind of issues and How to find above solutions?

Thanks

Regards,

Abdul

If there is a version problem refer below blog, you can go to CRM Admin center and find a suitable solution there to be installed.

CRM Admin center is where you take CRM DB backup, define user group and even name your crm instance.

Some of these solutions (those with the msdyn or msdynce prefix) are provided by Microsoft, and will be installed based on the applications configured within your organisation

As per the previous post, it is best practise to create your own solution, and only include the components that you need to deploy

Importing default solution is not good practice.Create new solution and add all your custom components in it then migrate solution.
