insufficient inventory transactions with status purchased

while invoice partial product receipt i am facing the below issue(Screen1). Screen two is line status for that PO

The root cause of this error comes from the inventory transactions. It is possible that the posting is blocked by an incorrect, or even a redundant (double) record in the InventTrans table.

In the first case, there might be "illegal" characters such as ',' or '..'in the product receipt ID. I believe MS has a fix for that.

In the second case, there will be an inventtrans record with status ordered that is not or no longer linked to any actual transaction. When invoicing, the process collects all the related inventtrans records, finds first this one with forementioned status and jumps to the conclusion that nothing has actually been purchased yet (but is still ordered).

The only option is to delete the redundant line in your inventtrans. I'm still trying to figure out what is actually causing the issue in the first place and how to prevent it.

Resolved.

there is an extra line in invnenttrans as ordered. from sql make it zero and run consistency check for that item only. it will fix transaction and invoice will be posted

I'm sorry, my long term memory is victim of too many projects.

Shouldn't be too hard to find though. Mind you, my remark was for the issue with 'bad' characters. I do not know if the issue with redundant inventtrans lines was ever fixed.
