Setup: GP10 SP5. When using Site Segment Substitution (SSS) can we create just the accounts we want to be substituted or does GP only swap-out specific accounts? IOWs, on the item maintenance card there is about 15 accounts that can be tracked. Let’s say I only want to have GP swap-out via SSS 2 accounts, Inventory and COGS. So I create those 2 accounts with the correct segment so GP can find them when it attempts to swap out the segment. But I don’t create any of the other 13 accounts so I want GP to use the default accounts on the item card. Then let’s say later I decide I want to track another site specific account so I create another account with the correct segment. Now I want GP to swap-out 3 accounts. And I can keep doing this for as many accounts as I wish to track per site…is this how it works?

Correct. If the site specific account does not exist, GP will use the account from the inventory setup.
