CU13 upgrade with model import

Hi Friends,

Can someone tell, after we do model import on production for CU13 upgrade, do I still need to run 'software update checklist'?

when I went through the ‘data upgrade’ step in UAT and DEV, it seems updating the ledger/fiscal calendar stuff, but I can’t tell what’s been updated.

So I am wondering I need to do same thing in Production after we import model store.

    I guess you mean modelstore import, since you can't export / import the standard SYP models.

    If you update the codebase with modelstore import (instead of installing the "database" component update in prod), you still need to go through the checklist. You can skip compiling of x++ code, and CIL generation, since the modelstore contains the compiled x++ code and CIL from your staging system.

    However all other steps, such as data upgrade and db syncc, must still be done. Modelstore installation brings only code to the system, nothing more.
