Unable to update the Contact Entity using the SDK

We have a number of integrations that update various enties. Recently we have been receiving an error 'The method or operation is not implemented.' On investigation it appears that when the UpdateAsync method is called against the Contact entity this error occurs. Other entites don't appear to have been affected. This is happing in muliple customer environments.
