We are using Automatic Registration functionality for events. So, when a seat becomes available the waitlist record will be moved to event registration that means an event registration record is generated for the contact and the associated waitlist record is deleted. We also have a validation to make sure that contact can exist either in the wait list or event registration (not in both the places).
We have a requirement – when the seat becomes available, we need to capture waitlist’s created date and set a field on event registration record creation.
Any idea how we can achieve this? On Event Registration creation, can we capture the waitlist’s created on value? Or it will be deleted simultaneously OOB.
