it is possible to set up a notification or warning message in Business Central to alert the user when they are creating a transfer order for an item that does not exist at the end location.
Here are the steps to set up a notification or warning message:
Go to the "Item Journal Template" page in Business Central.
In the "Item Journal Template" page, select the "Transfer Order" option from the "Journal Type" drop-down list.
Click on the "Lines" tab and select the "Item" field.
Click on the "AssistEdit" button next to the "Item" field to open the "Item" page.
In the "Item" page, select the "Triggers" tab.
Click on the "New" button to create a new trigger.
In the "Trigger" page, select the "Field" as "Location Code".
In the "Trigger" page, select the "Event" as "OnValidate".
In the "Trigger" page, select the "Action" as "Message".
In the "Trigger" page, enter a message in the "Message" field. For example, "The stockkeeping unit for this item needs to be created at the end location."
Click on "OK" to save the trigger.
This will set up a notification or warning message that will be displayed to the user when they are creating a transfer order for an item that does not exist at the end location. The user can then create the stockkeeping unit for the item at the end location before proceeding with the transfer order.
