Does anybody know of a solution, other than customizing the system, to enable a user to enter a value in a numeric field without the system forcing him to enter a decimal point?

Do you need decimals entered? Or do you need to just enter an amount without any decimals?

You could just set the currency to have zero decimal places?

Maybe describe the requirement / what you are trying to achieve?
