Error: Update failed with an internal error FirstPartyUpgradeLogic and is being investigated

History: We are one of the Microsoft partners and we have undegraded our client database from 2009 Nav to BC central could 19 version. Also we were able to upgrade the same BC from 19 to 19.4 (By scheduling for Microsoft update)

Can someone help us on this.

    Hi,

    Finally, what was the solution?

    Thanks

    Hi Inge M. Bruvik,

I have disabled the cloud migration and tried for upgrade. But still we are facing same issue. For more information i am sharing the cloud migration management page screen shot. The Disable Cloud Migration action is completely disabled, I am assuming this means there is nothing to disable right?

    Thank you.

Also, when I am trying to change the "update will start on or after" i am getting the following message. What is the reason and is there any way to change that

Scheduling an update date is not available for this update version. The current update will be rolled out to tenants after 4/30/2022.

I think this means that Microsoft will try to upgrade you directly to version 20. instead of going to 19.5.

    No, i don't think so.

Disable the cloud migration and try to schedule another upgrade.

If that upgrade also fails i would suggest that you raise a support ticket with Microsoft to have them investigate it.

Thanks  Inge M. Bruvik for your reply.

I will disable that and try to upgrade again. Is there any other areas where I need to concentrate before start the upgrade.

    Hi Inge M. Bruvik,

I am not aware of disable the cloud migration. Are you suggesting that this is happening because we haven't disabled the cloud migration. If it is can we disable now

If we can, Can you suggest us the steps.

    [/quote]

Yes, the cloud migration is on possible cause:

The steps are described in the link in the prior post and in this screen shot.
