I just wanted to pass along a fix that I was unable to find online.
When installing the web client for GP, I kept getting "The domain must be an actual domain"
The fix was removing the ".com" from the end of my domain (use example instead of example.com)

Hi Carl,
When setting the Domain for the user account you need to use the NETBIOS name which is not the whole domain name.
In the case of my test server I have the domain created as DOMAIN.azurecurve.co.uk so when I come to enter the user information, the Domain field is set to DOMAIN.
