Hi Experts,

First of all, thanks in advance for your help.

Is it possible to connect NAV to the SQL managed service and the managed SQL is located in AWS. If yes, please help with the steps need to be followed.

    Hi Winston,

I got the same Problem and I stuck on the License Table that must be in the master DB but on aws the master db is locked.

When provisioned, the Amazon Managed Service provides you a connection string with details on how to connect to the SQL instance.

Here you can deploy your NAV database and configure your NAV service tier accordingly.

    Check here for details:

Do you mean connecting NAV to Microsoft SQL Server on AWS? Yes it's possible and the steps are exactly like installing it on-premise.

Only one recommendation: if your NAV DB is on AWS, then also the service tier must be on an Amazon VM (for performance reasons).
