I'm looking for a way to help my company manage a "dollar-valued" employee benefit. Each employee can be reimbursed up to $xx for "Health and Wellness" expenses, and we need a way to track reimbursement transactions as well as current balance.
My first reaction was to use Payroll, but it appears that all the benefits can only be hour-valued. I suppose you could treat the hours as dollars for this benefit, but even then I'm not sure how you'd manage tracking the transactions .
Another suggestion was to use AR, where each employee is a "customer." That would probably cover the functionality we need, but it still feels like a kludge.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
