BC saas - Copy an extension from one BC to another

Hi

Is it possible to move an pte extension directly from a sandbox to production or from one BC installation to another.

In the extension management we have a pte extension and in the manage menu we have options to Upload extension and Download source.

The download source produce a zip file with .json and .ai files but the upload expects and .app file.

So my question is, can we somehow directly download a pte extension from one BC and upload it to an other BC?

Or do we have to download the source and via Visual Studio Code build and deploy the .app file?

Hi,

If the Target BC extension allows you to download a source file, then you have to unzip that folder compile it again with the al files into new environment, make a .app file and then upload that APP file into another Tenant.
