Implement Item Exchange on same price(Item is same change may be in Color or Size)

Dear All,

   I am new and just given responsibility to implement item exchange system on following condition.

   Case 1: Customer bought a black t-shirt with price say 100$ .

   Case 2: After one week customer come and want to exchange color of t-shirts to white.

   case 3: After one week item price changed say 150$.

   Case 4: But according to company policy Customer may exchange item within one month on same price if item is same but color or size may be different.

  

  How to implement this please let me know.

      Do I need to configure parameters? or  Do I need to modify POS source code and at which section.?

    I am new and after continues search from several days still clue less then asking this question and last hope.

    Hi,

    Your steps are clearly understood. As far as i know, you can only do price override with specific infocodes.

    Once the trade agreement expires, there are no possibilities to get the previous price.

       I got some idea and changed price under discount calculation ... Following are Alogo

          When Add New item

                Check if any item exist with same itemID and negetive quantity

                    If Yes then

                           NewItem.Price=PreviousItem.Price

                    else

                            If Item not matched with existing  exchanging item

                                    Does not Allow to add item in cart .. /// but here is the problem how can I stop item to add

                                                                                              // Logic is that only matched exchange item can be process

                           else

                              return

                          End IF

                    End IF

              End When

    *** struck to filter only matched items other just ignor ... So I am looking for even trigger when item add to cart so that I can filter at the moment :)
