Microsoft AX 2009 on Windows Server 2016

Hi all! Hope you are doing well. 

We are buying a new server for AX and I wanted to upgrade from Windows Server 2008 which we are currently using, to Windows Server 2016. 

Will AX 2009 work fine with Windows Server 2016?

    Windows Server 2016 is not supported according to the Dynamics AX 2009 System requirements: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    You can use Windows Server 2012 R2, look into the document for more details.

    Hi Vijay.

    We are facing the same scenario now that Windows Server 2012 will reach end of life.

    Upgrading to a new ERP system is not an option for the moment. Did you manage to get an answer to your question?
