business portal setup on test server

I have a test GP server that I recently updated with my prodution data. I mean I have restored the dynamics and company databases to my test server so I can do some testing with our most recent data. Business Portal wasn't working on the test server so I attempted the instructions in KB 967083 to move BP to another server and it still isn't working. Basically I backed up the content db from the production db and restored to the test server. I added it as the content db. I'm getting and error "Error: an unexpected error occurred" when I try to go to the bP site. The main sharepoint on the test server is fine. This is GP 10, sharepoitn service 3. How can I get BP working again on the test server?

Jennifer,

We need some more debugging information! Try the following: go into your web.config for your BP SharePoint site (something like the following: <drive>\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\XX where XX = port). Find the customErrors tag and set it to false. Find CallStack and set it to true. After doing that, try again with your users and see what you get.
