Hi,
are there any possible way to directly submit and approve workflow of a record in x++?
we have tried to submit and then approve and we got errors saying that the work item has not been created
manually, we might use workflow batch jobs to create the work item after submit or doing approvals

Hi,
It is not possible to do this directly but you can make a workflow that will approve the record automaticly.
We had requirement where for each record a workflow needed to be triggered for auditing purposes. But if the workflow matched certain criteria we would approve it automatically.
We did this by making a workflow task that just implemented completed and checked if the logic was valid or not (See the vendInvoiceMatching task). If the logic was valid we executed the approve logic else we assigned to a task that asked for user input and it would get to the approver logic or get rejected.
