Hi does anyone know if being part of the microsoft partner network and/buying the action pack allows the purchase of nav licenses direct from microsoft? which can either be sold on or used internally?

    If you became a Partner with ERP track, you are granted with a Developer's license which you can use for development purposes and do customizations for your customers. For that, you need to fulfill certain conditions to obtain that status. You can buy licenses directly from Microsoft and sell them to customers with your Partner margin (and buy for yourself consequently at your margin discount).

    Hi Alexander what partner level do you need to be to purchase nav license from partner source? And also theoretically, could setup be as simple as installing on prem demo database and just uploading a non demo license, and away you go?

    Hi, you must be an MBS partner (ERP competency), silver level is enough. Depending on you country, you can also became a partner through a Master VAR (which is easier and have less requirements).

    For you second cuestion the answer is yes, you can change the license... however, you cannot do too much with your demo license, because is very limited.
