Hello!!!
CRM 2011 CU 17 with IFD:

After rebooting CRM2011 on IIS on CRM, noticed that the error 404 on connect https://externalname:444/orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc.
Connect on https://externalname:444/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc - worked.
If go on https://localcrmservername:444/orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc, then after running https://externalname:444/orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc - worked.
What could it be?

    check the url of the organisation service by going to

    settings/customizations/developer resources

    check you can browse the url on the CRM server itself

    maybe it's being blocked on your machine?

    check the certificates on the server haven't ran out of time.

    are you saying it's working intermitantly or not at all

    Hi,

    when you install IFD, the external url should translate to the crm address + organisation name (externalname:444 = localcrmservername:444/orgname)

    therefore, https://externalname:444/orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc will be similar to

    ttps://localcrmservername:444/orgname/orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc

    Thank you. All (and IFD) worked at past week's. Not bloked on machine, No certificates out of time.

    IN settings/customizations/developer resources - orgname.externaldomain/.../organization.svc. - worked without problem. Problem with orgname/xrmservices/2011/organization.svc.
