How to move cursor to next line automatically ?

Hi,

I'm using BC15

How to move cursor to new line after cross reference (barcode) field is updated on Sales order subform?

Basically when user scans a barcode, related item and variant code is updated on sales order lines. After doing this action I want cursor to automatically jump to new line so the next item is scanned.

Hi,

Usually the barcode reader has the ability to setup an automatic TAB after reading. Please search for the manual for your barcode reader and activate this option. This way, you do not need to change anything in BC.

What if user wants to enter barcode manually on cross reference field on sales line?

Once cross reference field is updated cursor must auto jump to new line.

how can I do this?

Hi again,

If user wants to enter barcode manually on cross reference field on sales line, the only way is to Key Down after or include that in OnValidate function in CrossReference field (adding custom code).
