Pinning a Chart

Hi,

Just wondering Is it possible to Pin a chart? Due to contsraints on Business Units, I have created a Personal chart for one of our teams and shared it with the team.

When one of the users is in the Cases view, and clicks the Show Chart button, each time, they have to select the personal chart that I shared, but once they select it and then view one of the case records that the chart is showing, make a change to the case, then click the 'go back option' the chart disappears again and they have to click the Show Chart and select the shared chart again.

So Im just curious to see if the shared chart can be pinned by the user?

Thanks as always

Ted

    Hi Leah Ju,

Thanks for your suggestion, this seems to be the best workaround, have tested it here and working well.

    Thanks

    Hi TedW,

Unfortunately, No support documentation found that says you can pin the chart on the left side of the view, But I stumbled upon a little trick to achieve what you want.

You can try to add the view to the dashboard, then you can view the chart in the dashboard.

Click 'View Records' button, which can navigate to the case view with chart, just as following screenshot:

It seems to have the same effect as if you clicked directly on the 'Show Chart' button, but the difference is that you can return to this page again after you open one record.

My version is 2021 release wave 1:

I'm not sure all versions can work, but you can try to test.
