I am trying to set up vendor payments in business central

The local currency (COA) is CAD for Canadian Dollar

We have two bank accounts : CAD and USD bank accounts

We are paying our international vendors from the USD bank account

It seems that the system does not allow to make the payment with GBP from the USD bank account when the LCY is CAD

Is there a way to make this work?

There is no way to make it work in the standard system Other than paying the GBP for a bank account in LCY.

There are some add-ons available that will fix this. But i a not sure what options you have available in Canada.

You can either look through app source or contact your partner and see if they have any knowledge about an extension that will fix this for you.
