Which privileges go with these business processes?

I'm looking for which privileges are needed for the following business processes:

  • Create and Manage Batch Jobs
  • Create User / Assign Roles
  • Purchase Order Approval Setup

Yes, these are vague. All answered are welcomed.

    Hi,

    Any user can create batch jobs as it is granted by the system user role. By default they can only see their own batches.

    A system administrator can manage all batch jobs. I thought the Information Technology manager can also manage all.

    Users and security can be managed by the security administrator and system administrator.

    What exactly do you mean with the approval setup? This is a bit broad question. Which exact setup are you referring to?

    Note that it is possible to change the security to your needs.

    Hi amymxx,

    You can start from the Security Development Tool, which is intended to help you more easily create and maintain security artifacts such as roles, duties, and privileges.  You can record the actions of a user, clicking on buttons and such, and it will summarize which security objects are required to provide access to that collection of actions.
