Has anyone come across a sceanario whereby on posting of a Assembly Order, the stock picked to the AO bin, is automatically flushed back to the bin it was picked from. Or should I say come up with a method to achieving this?
Example;
- Item123 is on AO001, qty to consume - 1,000.
- A Warehouse Pick is created for AO001, with a defined "pick-from" bin of BINA, and a "pick-to" bin of BINB.
- The Warehouse Pick is posted for the related AO, and qty 1,000 of Item123 now sits in BINB.
- The AO001 is posted, but Item123 was only consumed with a qty of 900. Meaning 100 of Item123 now just sits in BINB.
Ideally at point 4, it should create and post a movemenet for Item123 qty - 100 from BINB and to BINA.
I imagine this will require some bespoke code. Just throwing the question out to the public before doing so.
FYI, I know it can be acheived through a Production Order :)
