Create a sales order from one line of a Sales Quote

We have a four line Sales Quote. Our customer ordered only one line from it. I know you can turn a quote into a sales order, but that is for all of the lines. Is there a way to create a one line sales order from the quote, but leave the rest of the quote open and still see the history?

you can create a sales order from the sales quote and delete the lines you do not need. for the special issue you would need a customization.

Make Order converts all the sales quote lines into a sales order.

If you want to convert partially, I would suggest using Blanket Sales Order, instead of Quote.
