how do I populate this "add products to purchase requisitions" form?

When I select to "add products" in my purchase requisition I don't see any products to add. How do I make it so I can see and select products to the purchase requisition?

 

I don't see any items available to add

    In order to be able to select products, they need first to be part of a procurement category.
    You can check this either from Released products page - Set up - Product categories, or from Procurement and sourcing- Procurement categories - Products.

    I suppose you did provide a buying legal entity. Did you link products to several nodes on the purchasing category hierarchy? Are the products released in this legal entity?

    Hello,
     
    I am not sure if this is update to date, however, there was a question raised how to select products without a linkage to the procurement categories.
     
    SPOILER: Procurement policies need to be set up
