Hi Experts,

I am trying to do Email Configuration in Dynamics 365 Free trail.

For that I go to Settings --> Email Configuration --> Mail boxes --> Approve Email --> Test & Enable Mail boxes.

In this process Server profile is "Microsoft Exchange Online".

And I gave valid Email. (Valid Outlook Email) even though I am getting following two errors

Email cannot be received for the mailbox <Name>. Make sure that the credentials specified in the mailbox are correct and have sufficient permissions for receiving email. Then, enable the mailbox for email processing.

Email Server Error Code: Http server returned 401 Unauthorized exception

The email message "Test Message" cannot be sent. Make sure that the credentials specified in the mailbox <Name >are correct and have sufficient permissions for sending email. Then, enable the mailbox for email processing.

Email Server Error Code: Http server returned 401 Unauthorized exception.

Is microsoft providing to access this for Free Trail? or this is only for paid service.?

How to solve this issue.?

Hi

In free trial You are given Plan 1.

In plan 1 there is no Exchange Online included.

Dynamics 365 online and Exchange online should be in the same tenant.

Go for Office 365 trial.

Hi,

With the valid email do you mean the default email you have been given when you have taken the trial ..... or you are giving another outlook email id..

Hi TNS,

I tried with default one and another outlook email both. I trust that we should have licence to use this option and for free trail Microsoft is not providing this feature.

Hello Santosh ,

you have took a dynamics 365 trial version...you open portal.office.com and there you check that you have got outlook app, in your office 365...... if its not there then you have to take a trial version of office 365... too.

How to Set up Mailbox in Dynamics 365 for Trail Version

Step 1: Create a Dynamics 365 CRM Trails Version.

Step2: Navigate Admin Tab

Step 3: Select Billing Purchase Service Office 365 Enterprise E5 without PSTN Conferencing (Trail)

Step 4: Setup the Office 365 Enterprise E5 without PSTN Conferencing

Step 5: Navigate Dynamics 365 CRM

Step 6: Navigate Settings Email Configuration Choose the Mailbox

Step 7: Activate the Mail Box and Approve Email

Step 8: Test and Enable Mailbox
