Marketing - Campaign Activities not generating Activities

Hi all, 

We are simply trying to generate some phone calls from Campaigns using Campaign Activities and Marketing Lists)

So let me start by telling you what we did already: 

  1. Created a Marketing List with Account (we tried both the static and Dynamics options - About 200 accounts are in here)
  2. Created a Campaign (2 actually 1 for the static ML and 1 for the Dynamics ML)
  3. Added the Marketing List to the Campaign (again did it twice) 
  4. Created multiple Campaign Activities with Channel Phone for both Campaigns
  5. Finally we press the "Distribute Campaign Activity" button and follow the wizard
    1. Entering a specific Subject to the phone call (using the Standard Main Form, without Custom fields)
    2. Assigning the "to be" created Phone calls to the team "Internal Sales"
  6. And finally Pressed Distribute, the screen with the loading bar pops up and finishes in a record time (2 seconds or so)

However no Phone calls were created. 

If i check the System Jobs, then i can see the Activity Propagation Job was executed succesfully. We have tried different approaches, however Dynamics will not create any Phone Calls. 

Are we missing something here?

Note: When using Quick Campaigns and it will generate the Phone calls (or other activities for that matter), however we want to use Campaign responses and multiple Campaign activities so QC's are not the way to go for us. 

If there is additional information required, please let me know, this is blocking us in using Dynamics Marketing to it's full potential since we just cannot create any activities

    Hello,

    Campaign activities and distribution is a very core functionality and should work fine. If you still observe an failure here please file a service request such that we can analyze on your specific instance why those campaign activities do not distribute into activities and unblock you.

    For future reference: 

    The Solution was to remove the grid on the bottom of the Campaign Activity form via Settings - Customizations - Campaign Activity - Forms

    This can be closed :)
