I tried to configure SSL using a wildcard certificate and was not successful. While the configuration console has a hostname field, it is grayed out for editing. I wanted to use https://mr.domain.com:4713. But instead, the configuration console insisted on configuring https://localservername:4713.
I tried manually registering the cert using netsh.exe and editing MRServiceHost.settings.config, but I couldn't get it to work.

When I first learned that MR would not use IIS and instead would use an embedded server, I thought that was kind of cool. But now that product development has (mostly) been abandoned, I see the downfall of that. Things like this don't work and I'm worried that security vulnerabilities are less likely to get fixed.
Couldn't get this working either. Are we going to have to request this feature?
