I need to show reporting currency in report

Hi Experts,

I have one requirement in standard report(Cost Estimates and Costing Report), That is a Query Based Report,In that report they are showing Accounting Currency,

Now I need to show the reporting currency to that accounting currency by taking the exchange rate.

Can anyone suggest me the correct path to achieve this(like whether i need to update the table by runnable class or any otherway)

    Hello Srihari,

    Many thanks for the feedback on the report.

    As the manufacturing transactions are recorded in the accounting currency only, you would have to modify the report. Doing that is, however, not as easy as it might sound because you have to define what exchange rate to use.

    That is important because your accountants will usually use an average exchange rate (e.g. of the month) to translate cost related data. If you use a different rate, then your report and the financial statement reports might deviate. So, please take this into account.

    Another option that does not require a modification is what we have available in the cost accounting module, which allows you translating those cost data into any currency needed with the exchange rate you define. Please see: docs.microsoft.com/.../cost-accounting-home-page

    Is this for AX2012 or D365FO?

    Can you let us know what standard reports you refer to? Are these project or production or inventory reports?
