I have a custom entity "Member" that has a Lookup field named POC to the Contacts table, as well as a many to many relationship to the Contacts as well. On the Member form I have a Sub-Grid where they can add as many contacts to the member, such as a back up contact for when the POC is out.
I am looking to have a Lookup column filtered by ones that are related through being selected through the POC as well as the Additional Contacts within the Sub-Grid using the many to many relationship.
Mohamed GRAIB Sorry that is not what I am asking.
I have a 1 to many relationship AND a Many to Many relationship. The POC field is a lookup (1-Many) but I also have a Sub-Grid (Many-Many) that is labeled Additional Contacts.
There are hundreds of Contacts.
I am wanting the "view" to be dynamics based on what is selected in Another lookup field on the same form labeled Member.
I am wanting the lookup to be a filtered view based on Contacts that are either a POC for the Member or within the Additional Contacts section of the Member.
Hi Clinton,
If I understand your need, that you want to configure the lookup view.
You can configure the view of the lookup from the FORM configuration.
You should select your lookup field in the form and then choose the view wich you want to see.
Another point, when you have a lookup view, this is a one to many relationship not many to many relationship.
Hope that's helpful for you.
