Return Purchase order in AX 2012 R3

Hi Experts,

Please tell me the scenarios where i can use return purchase order in ax 2012.Also what are the ways to create it.?

Please provide me some ideas and also some blogs explaining the scenarios with screenshots.

Also what are the effects in ledger accounts when posting it.

Also please share the accounting entries so that i can get clear idea about the reflection in ledger accounts..?

    Create PO With Negative Quantity that is being return.

    there is not a specific way to create Return PO.

    It simply Deduct (Update) the Inventory (Quantity) . same processes that we follow to create and process POs.

    Dear Seenu,

    You can create a purchase order of type Returned order, where you need to enter the  RMA number or alternatively you can create the PO line manually with negative quantity.

    You can also use copy forms to match the invoices (option credit note) from a specific PO.
