Creating Purchase Orders from Back Orders

This seems like such a logical option but I can not find a way to do it. I have about $23,000 in backorderd merchandise and I want to create a purchase order to fill that merchandise only. I can run a report that tells me what I need but obviously this is a lot of merchandise so I need to automatically populate a PO with this information. It could take hours to manually add each item. Can anyone help me here?

    Yes, I have looked at all the filters. They are pretty generic and broad spectrum (ie: dept., catagory, etc.) Nothing that will look into the database and find items in negatve quantities and populate the PO with that number.  This is basic stuff for any environment that accepts backorders so I thought that the folks at Microsoft would have developed it out of the box. I do not know enough about SQL to write it myself. I carry about $10,000 in back orders at all times so this is very time consuming to manually create these PO's. I have to look at negative quantities and Qty on order to determine qty needed to order.

    Creating Purchase order has a lot of options to filter the items... did you already try the filter options?
