Rms slow after DB transfer and upgrade

We transfered our RMS database from an older HP server to a Dell R610, dual xeons, 24 gb ram raid 10 all that fun stuff. We also updated the woefully out of date database from 2.01 to the current 2.05. When we did that it seems to have made things slower, especially on the back end. Item looks up take longer, and the hourglass seems to come up more often when searching. The database itself is fairly large, 13.0+ gb. Any ideas to alleviate the slower loading time, journal records load a quarter of the time. While browsing inventory takes much longer.

Thanks!

RE: Rms slow after DB transfer and upgrade

I ran hotpatch #35 and it solved my problems, well most of them.

    community.dynamics.com/.../hotfix-rollup-2791653-35-for-microsoft-dynamics-rms-2-0.aspx

If anyone did a feature pack 2 install and is having sluggish performance, jumpy curser in the backend and other issues give this hotpatch a shot. Worked for our system.
