SSRS report with multiple documents (Invoice + BOL's)

I've been asked to look into a SSRS report which would combine SO invoice to 1..n Bill of ladings. Essentially, what is being asked is when a SO invoice is printed, the same SSRS report should also print all the Bill of ladings associated with all packing slips. I've never seen such a report in action. I imagine I would start with the standard SO customer invoice, then add the datasource table(s) associated with the SSRS BOL report, then add the section in the SO customer invoice. This seems to makes sense but I would love to see if such an example SSRS exists in standard D365 or if someone has references I can start with.

    Hi,

    For this type of requirement, normally the popular approach I think should be trigger multiple reports at the same time, and you will receive 1 pdf for each documents. If you want it all in the same PDF I think it should take more step to do but the above customization is achievable.

    I agree it's probably something that can be done. I just have no experience or know of any existing reports that have this feature. Have you seen it done and/or know of any resources I can go to for my research?
