Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Deactivated user

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We have a user that resigned and was deleted on AD but deactivated on CRM, she then came back and new AD account was created, but when we activate on CRM we received an error, I think it’s still looking at the old profile on AD that was deleted. We then created a new AD and CRM account changing the format of the username so that CRM does not see it as a duplicate with old one, thereafter the user was able to work on CRM, but then the user resigned again and now on AD the account was deactivated and also on CRM.

But now the user is back again, we have activated the account both on AD and CRM, but we getting the below error "The specified user is either disabled or is not a member of any business unit", so the user is unable to use CRM.
