Dynamics SL2011 Message: 6201 Error: 56029 Journal Quick Print

Posted on by 2,165

We have just upgraded our client to Dynamics SL2011. They access SL via a terminal server. All printing within SL is working fine with the exception of Quick Print in the Journal Transaction. They receive a System Message: 6201 Error: 56029 Table vr_01810 could not be cound. Error in File 01810. I receive the same message on the Applications Server. I have attempted to change the printer in SL for the local windows default. I have installed the CR2008_redistributable that fixed the problem for others. However, it did not fix the problem here. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Deb

One more thing I did was to rename the custom report different from the standard report and attached that to the Solomon.ini file.

I don't get the error message anymore, however the printing process doesn't do anything and am unable to print.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi! Cory,

We are using the SL 2011 FP1, build 8.12.40821.00, terminal server environment and the GL edit report 01810 report works fine from the reports menu. When you try and print it from the quick print journal transaction screen I get the same error message. This report is customized

    System message 6201

Report execution failed error = 56029

    This field is not known

    Error in file 01810

    However the contents on the message related to [Vr_0180x.rptCompany_RI_ID] = 9 and [vr_01810.batch_module] = 'GL' and [vr_01810.batch_batnbr] = '065409'

This field name is not known.

    Details:errorkind

Please help! the view name on the report is not an issue, no printer is selected on the report.

There is nothing wrong with the report as it runs fine from the ROI screen.

I have also added the report to the Solomon.ini file under the quickprint format

If I run the standard report by renaming the custom report from the usr_rpts folder, I still get the same error message

    Hi Deb,

Some times the error will list a view that is similar to the one that is in the report. Say for example the view on the report is vr_01810, but in the error it is looking for view vr_01810sp. To correct this you will need to open the report in crystal reports, select database expert. Find the vr_01810 and rename it to vr_01810sp. Doing this will create an alias in the report so when it prints the report will look for vr_01810sp but when it pulls data from SQL it will pull from vr_01810.

Determined that the 01.810 report had been modified. Renamed the report so that the generic report printed and did not receive the error message. We will review the changes on the report and re-customize.
