Permission sets in Business Central

Posted on by 111
Can someone help me understand the difference between these 3 section in Business Central. I am new to the platform and your help would be much appreciated. I have checked on few resources from the web and specifically form MS Learn, however, I wasn't able to get the clear information on this part.

Can someone share, what are the inbuilt and compulsory permissions and user group in Business Central full license and team member licenses?
Can you also share resources that can help me further understand better on permission sets and licenses?

    1. You can add or exclude individual permissions, such as table, page, codeunit, etc.

    2. A Permission Set can belong to another Permission Set. You can directly add or exclude other Permission Sets here.

    3. Result of settings 1 and 2. But if you don't add Permission Sets, it won't display the content.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

    Hii There,
As Per your question there is 2 part there , in that as per Snapshot 1 is used to describe all the object type you need to give permissions.
By that a set will be created.. And you can use that permission set again also, For that you need to add that permission set in snapshot 2. And Snapshot 3 is display all the permission sets included in Snapshot 2 in details.

In result you will get all the permission sets added in current open permission set.

    Thank You,
    Kamal Khakhkhar
