SOP Void Date

How can I find the date that a SOP document was voided?  I have a need to run a report each month for SOP documents that were created in a previous month and voided in the current month, but I can't figure out which date is the best date.

I've tried GLPOSTDT, DEX_ROW_TS and MODIFDT.  Check links seems to affect DEX_ROW_TS.  The results from GLPOSTDT or MODIFDT >2/28/2013 seem too low and return different SOP docs.

Does someone have a better idea?

    Amanda,

I just did some quick testing on this using our GP 2010 SP 2 and it looks like the actual date of the void is being saved in the POSTEDDT field in SOP30200. Can you take a look at your data (and maybe do some testing if you have a test company) and see if that works for you as well?

Unfortunately, the dates in that field appear to be 1/1/1900.  I assume it's because we use a custom portal to interface with GP10 SP3 and we didn't program to populate that date.

We're in the process of updating GP and removing that custom portal so hopefully that will be an option going forward.  Thanks anyway!

    Amanda,

Are you not posting your invoices in GP? You're actually populating the SOP30200 table directly in SQL? And voids are also populated this way? If so, then perhaps your other system (where the data is coming from) has this information and that's where you can look for it?

If you're removing the custom integration...then look at eConnect as a replacement. Custom integrations really are only a last resort when you have no other options. If you're developers missed the POSTEDDT field - what other fields have they missed? You could create a test company with your live data and run a checklinks against the Sales History tables - to see if anything obvious was missed.

    Best regards,

    Ian.
