Hello,

Is there any way to prevent multiple users from opening and editing a sales order at the same time?

Currently the system does error after a user attempts to save once the changes are entered if another users is already in the sales order. However, it doesn't give you any type of warning beforehand. Ideally the system wouldn't let you in the order if another user already had it open.

There is this type of functionality on general journals so interesting it does not appear to be on sales orders.

No, not out of the box unfortunately.

You will have to make a customization if you want this functionality.
