Hello experts,

When do Business Central hot fixes upgrades happen? We are on 25.2.27733.29622 and need to go to 25.2.27733.29800. Does it happen automatically or do schedule the application version upgrade in the admin center?

Minor update and Major update are managed in the admin center. Other hotfixes are automatic, which are pushed automatically by Microsoft and cannot be restored.

In the Admin Center, one has the ability to schedule the timing of the update. Should no modifications be made, the update will automatically take effect on the predetermined date and when it becomes accessible in your respective region.
Furthermore, you may examine the available version and utilize the Modify option, as illustrated in the accompanying screenshot, to amend the date as desired.

You need to schedule the update in the Admin Center under Environments → Manage Updates. For minor updates, you can schedule it anytime. Major updates follow Microsoft's release waves and require scheduling within the allowed upgrade window.
