Hi,
No, the report is this GL-->Reports-->Transactions-->Accounting transactions list
is this the report in GL>Reports>Grouping>Transaction list by date?
I'm executing the report in AX succesfully, after that I save the report as an Excel document in my computer, finally I'm trying to open the file and it is in this moment when I get the error.
I'm not batching the report, I'm not sending the file by email.
Can you give me some details on how you are exporting this report to Excel. For example are you sending it to an email as a Excel document? Are you saving to file as Excel? Are you batching the report?
Thank you Boris,
I'm not the only user that get this error, it is the same to all users.
I did what you say when I faced with this problem, I already deployed this report again but it is still happening.
Any other suggestion?
Are other users able to export December, October or all months without the error? Or is everyone with access to this information unable to see this exported data?
If others are able to see it ok and one person cant. you can try clearing the cache on the AX client.
go to File>Tools>Options>Usage data tab>Jobs Tab>select all>click File>Delete Record. Then form selections tab>select all>Click File>Delete Record.
Another thing you can try is deleting the .AUC files. These files are located on the machine where the client is run from.
C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Local. You will see AX_GUI files with extension of .auc
Note: this is only if others are able to pull this data and only you cant.
Hi Boris,
The check box you are mentioning is already clear.
It is weird because I export data of some months like march, april, june, etc and I can save and open the Excel book without problem, but if I export december, october or all months I get the error when I open the file.
Hello Jorge,
If you are using a local Ax client, on your computer open Excel, Select File > Options.
Select Advanced, scroll down to the General section, and then clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) check box in the General area.
Select OK.
If your using AX through published application like RDS, then same steps need to be performed but on the RDS server.
The message is this:
"We have found a problem with the content of vsi oct 2017. Would you like we try to recover the most posible data? If you trust in the origin of this book, clic on YES"
If I clic YES, I don't get anything.
