When working with OLE container's i attach a pdf file and try to name the pdf but the name doesn't show up
the Icon shows up be label doesn't

Larry you should be able to make this change. Is it happening on more than one machine? If you open Wordpad and try to do the same thing does it show up?
Not sure how you want me to try it in Word? I click on insert new object in GP. I don't have that in Word

Sorry Larry I do not know then. GP is not creating that window for as it should be the exact same in GP as it is in Word Pad. I would recommend you open a support case.
We attach all ours as pdf's but rename the files when we scan them into the system. See if that helps.
The files are already saved with a file name. The problem is when i go through the process of inserting it in the ole notes, the filename is no longer there and when i try to edit and give it a name it doesn't happen.
