How to hide Area in Sitemap based on User Security role

Hello !

I need to hide a certain Area in the Sitemap based on the User Security role. 

Can someone help me with the steps / process ?

    Hi,

    You can check it in App Designer.

    If the subarea is based on a certain entity, you just need to remove the Read privilege of the security role to the entity.

    If not, it cannot be hidden according to the security role.

    So if I need to hide the entire Area, then do I need to remove the read access for all Sub Area entities ?

    Hi,

    Yes, if the subareas are hidden, the entire area will not be shown.
